When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture. When you use Anchored, we store the thoughts, tasks, and location data you choose to capture.
Your data is used solely to provide the Anchored service — organizing your captures, powering AI features, and delivering location-based reminders. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
When you use AI features (auto-categorization, summaries, task suggestions), your capture content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic/Claude) for processing. This data is not stored by the AI provider beyond the request lifecycle.
If you grant location permission, we use your coordinates to power location-based reminders. Your location data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke location access at any time through your browser or device settings.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). All connections are encrypted via TLS. Guest mode data is stored locally on your device only.
You can export or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
